LEGO Black Friday 2026: dates, rules and how to spot a real deal

Tue, 03 Nov 2026 08:00:00 GMT

Key dates

Date	What happens
21–22 November	LEGO Insiders Weekend – member offers, rewards and gifts with purchase. Joining LEGO Insiders is free.
27 November	Black Friday – LEGO promises discounts and gifts with purchase.
30 November	Cyber Monday – the last day of LEGO's Black Friday event.
31 December	Expected exit date for many sets, including Rivendell, the UCS Millennium Falcon and NASA Artemis (Brickset).

Dates are from LEGO.com. As of late October, LEGO had announced the dates but not the offers or gifts with purchase themselves. Retailers usually run their own LEGO campaigns in the same week.

Five rules for a real deal

Check the 30-day lowest price. In Sweden, a store that advertises a price cut must show the lowest price it charged in the 30 days before the cut, and any percentage must be calculated from that price (Konsumentverket). The same rule applies across the EU. If a 'was' price looks high, it probably isn't the right reference.
Compare with LEGO.com's list price, not with a store's own 'recommended price'.
Value gifts with purchase honestly. A free small set is only a saving if you would have spent the money anyway. Don't add 500 kr to your basket to reach a threshold.
Insiders points are worth about 5%. LEGO says members earn at least 5% back in points on LEGO.com purchases. Nice, but it is a future discount, not a lower price today.
Know the return rules. LEGO.com Sweden says orders placed between 1 November and 24 December can be returned within 90 days (unopened items), and standard delivery is free from 600 kr. That makes buying gifts early low-risk.

Our watchlist

List prices checked on LEGO.com Sweden on 3 November 2026. The target is the price where we think the set is good value – not a forecast.

Set	List price	Per piece	Verdict	Target
10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell	6,049.90 kr	0.98 kr	Buy	5,150 kr
75192 Millennium Falcon (Ultimate Collector Series)	9,999.90 kr	1.33 kr	Wait	8,500 kr
10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System	2,999.90 kr	0.83 kr	Buy	2,550 kr
21065 Sagrada Família	9,399.90 kr	0.78 kr	Wait	7,990 kr
11388 Venetian Neighbourhood	6,299.90 kr	1.11 kr	Wait	5,350 kr
31212 The Milky Way Galaxy	2,349.90 kr	0.76 kr	Wait	1,880 kr
10281 Bonsai Tree	719.90 kr	0.82 kr	Buy	650 kr

Decide before 31 December

Rivendell, the UCS Millennium Falcon and NASA Artemis are all expected to retire at the end of the year. That makes this year's Black Friday the last big sales event for them. Read which retiring sets are worth it.

What we won't do

We won't call something a deal just because it says 'Black Friday'. When an offer reaches one of our target prices we say so, with the date we checked.

Retiring at the end of 2026: which big LEGO sets to buy now – and which to let go

Tue, 03 Nov 2026 07:00:00 GMT

What 'retiring' means

LEGO does not publish exit dates. LEGO.com marks sets as 'Retiring soon' without a date; the dates fan sites use come from Brickset and are estimates. Stock can also run out before the date: production usually stops in advance and the remaining stock is sold while it lasts (Brickfact).

Most sets leave in two waves: a smaller one in the summer and the main one at the end of December.

Our three calls

Rivendell (10316) – Buy. 6,167 pieces for 6,049.90 kr, about 0.98 kr per piece. One of the best large display sets of recent years. Target 5,150 kr, but list price is defensible if you want it.
Millennium Falcon (75192) – Wait, until mid-December at most. 9,999.90 kr for 7,541 pieces – about 1.33 kr per piece and a 2017 design. Give Insiders Weekend and Black Friday a chance first. Target 8,500 kr.
NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) – Buy. 3,601 pieces for 2,999.90 kr, about 0.83 kr per piece, 70 cm tall on a small footprint. Target 2,550 kr.

List prices checked on LEGO.com Sweden on 3 November 2026; exit dates from Brickset.

Other big sets expected to leave on 31 December

According to Brickset's estimates (compiled by Collectorists), these large sets are also expected to go at the end of 2026: Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser (75367), Jabba's Sail Barge (75397), TIE Interceptor (75382), Grand Piano (21323), The Starry Night (21333), Concorde (10318) and The Endurance (10335). We have not reviewed them yet.

Already gone

The Eiffel Tower (10307) and Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale (21348) had Brickset exit dates of 31 July 2026. If you see them now, you are buying leftover stock or second-hand – compare with the original list price (US $629.99 and $359.99) before paying more.

Buy to build, not to speculate

Retirement is a reason to make up your mind, not a reason to buy. If you would enjoy building and displaying the set, buy it before it goes – ideally on a deal. If you are thinking of it as an investment, don't: second-hand prices after retirement can go up or down, and we don't give investment advice.

10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell: Buy – Retiring at the end of 2026 – buy it this season if you want it

Tue, 03 Nov 2026 06:00:00 GMT

The facts

6,167 pieces and 15 minifigures. 39 cm high, 72 cm wide and 50 cm deep (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 6,049.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026), about 0.98 kr per piece. US $499.99, UK £429.99 (Brickset).
On sale since March 2023. Brickset lists an exit date of 31 December 2026. LEGO does not publish exit dates itself, so treat it as the best available estimate.

Who should buy it

Lord of the Rings fans, and adult builders who want one big centrepiece and have the shelf for it. The model splits into three sections – the tower, the council circle and the pavilion with the river and bridge – so it is easier to display than the footprint suggests.

Who should skip it

Anyone short on space, or mainly after the minifigures: 72 × 50 cm takes a whole shelf.

Price verdict

Under 1 kr per piece is reasonable for a licensed display set this size. Because it is retiring, waiting for a 2027 sale is not an option – after 31 December you rely on leftover store stock and the second-hand market, where prices can rise.

Verdict: Buy before the end of the year. Our target is 5,150 kr (about 15% under LEGO.com's list price). If no store gets close by mid-December and you really want it, list price is still defensible.

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

75192 Millennium Falcon (Ultimate Collector Series): Wait – Iconic but expensive per piece – wait for a November offer, then decide

Tue, 03 Nov 2026 05:00:00 GMT

The facts

7,541 pieces. Minifigures from both the original trilogy (Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, C-3PO) and the sequel era (older Han Solo, Rey, Finn), plus BB-8, two porgs and a mynock (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 9,999.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026) – about 1.33 kr per piece. US $849.99, UK £734.99 (Brickset).
On sale since October 2017. Brickset lists an exit date of 31 December 2026.

Who should buy it

Star Wars fans who want the flagship ship and will display it. Few LEGO models are as instantly recognisable.

Who should skip it

Anyone buying on value. Per piece it is the most expensive set in our current verdicts: Rivendell is about 0.98 kr and Sagrada Família about 0.78 kr per piece. It is also a design from 2017.

Price verdict

There are two LEGO sales events before the expected exit date: Insiders Weekend on 21–22 November and Black Friday to Cyber Monday on 27–30 November. There is no reason to pay list price today.

Verdict: Wait – but not past mid-December. Our target is 8,500 kr (about 15% under list). If nothing close appears and you still want it, decide before Christmas; after retirement you depend on whatever stock is left.

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System: Buy – Strong value per piece and retiring – a good buy before the year ends

Tue, 03 Nov 2026 04:00:00 GMT

The facts

3,601 pieces. 70 cm high, 27 cm wide and 30 cm deep (LEGO.com).
Multi-stage rocket with two solid rocket boosters, an Orion capsule with fold-out solar panels (it can sit in the rocket or on its own stand) and a mobile launch tower with retractable umbilicals, rocket supports and crew access arm (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 2,999.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026), about 0.83 kr per piece. US $259.99, UK £219.99 (Brickset).
On sale since May 2024. Brickset lists an exit date of 31 December 2026.

Who should buy it

Space fans who want a tall model that doesn't eat a whole shelf: the footprint is only 27 × 30 cm.

Who should skip it

Anyone who wants minifigures or play features – there are none. It is a display model.

Price verdict

At about 0.83 kr per piece it is good value for a large adult set, and the retirement date means waiting for a 2027 sale is not an option.

Verdict: Buy. Our target is 2,550 kr (about 15% under list), and list price is still fair if you don't find it lower before December.

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

LEGO gifts for adults by budget: Christmas 2026

Mon, 02 Nov 2026 22:00:00 GMT

All prices are LEGO.com Sweden list prices checked on 3 November 2026. Piece counts and sizes are from LEGO.com. Where we have a full verdict, the set name links to it.

Under 1,000 kr

Bonsai Tree (10281) – 719.90 kr, 878 pieces. Two looks in one box (green leaves or pink blossoms), small enough for a desk. The safest gift on this list. Note: LEGO.com Sweden showed 'ships by 23 November' when we checked.

1,000–2,000 kr

Orange Cat (21376) – 1,299.90 kr, 1,755 pieces. A 32 cm tall LEGO Ideas cat with a turning head, opening mouth, adjustable ears, paws and tail, and a choice of green or brown eyes. About 0.74 kr per piece. A great gift for anyone with an orange cat at home.
Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku (11390) – 1,799.90 kr, 1,764 pieces. A 32 cm Shenron statue rising from the seven Dragon Balls, with Kid Goku on the Flying Nimbus. Released 4 November 2026. For anime fans.

2,000–3,000 kr

The Milky Way Galaxy (31212) – 2,349.90 kr, 3,091 pieces. Wall art in five panels with separate booklets – ideal for building together over the holidays.
NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) – 2,999.90 kr, 3,601 pieces. 70 cm tall, small footprint. Expected to retire on 31 December 2026 (Brickset), so don't leave it too late.

Over 5,000 kr

Rivendell (10316) – 6,049.90 kr. For Lord of the Rings fans; retiring at the end of the year.
Venetian Neighbourhood (11388) – 6,299.90 kr. The most detailed new display set of the autumn.
Sagrada Família (21065) – 9,399.90 kr. The largest LEGO set so far, for someone who wants a project for the whole winter.
Millennium Falcon (75192) – 9,999.90 kr. The Star Wars flagship, retiring at the end of the year.

Not sure which big one? See our comparison of the three biggest display sets.

Two practical tips

Buy early, return if needed. LEGO.com Sweden says orders placed between 1 November and 24 December can be returned within 90 days (unopened). That removes most of the risk of buying before the deals and the delivery crunch.
Watch the 30-day price. If a store advertises a Black Friday discount, the 'before' price must be its lowest price in the previous 30 days. See our Black Friday guide.

Sagrada Família vs Venetian Neighbourhood vs Rivendell: which big display set is worth it?

Mon, 02 Nov 2026 20:00:00 GMT

All three cost more than 6,000 kr and need serious shelf space. Here is how they compare. List prices checked on LEGO.com Sweden on 3 November 2026; sizes and minifigure counts from LEGO.com.

Sagrada Família (21065)	Venetian Neighbourhood (11388)	Rivendell (10316)
Pieces	12,060	5,682	6,167
List price (LEGO.com Sweden)	9,399.90 kr	6,299.90 kr	6,049.90 kr
Price per piece	0.78 kr	1.11 kr	0.98 kr
Size (H × W × D)	62 × 47 × 39 cm	48 × 63 × 31 cm	39 × 72 × 50 cm
Minifigures	–	17	15
Status	New, Nov 2026	New, Nov 2026	Retiring 31 Dec 2026 (Brickset)
Our verdict	Wait (7,990 kr)	Wait (5,350 kr)	Buy (5,150 kr)

Best value: Sagrada Família

At about 0.78 kr per piece, LEGO's largest set so far is also the cheapest per piece of the three. It is the longest build by far and the most 'architectural' model. The catch is the absolute price, and that it has only just launched – so wait for the first discount.

Most detail and stories: Venetian Neighbourhood

17 minifigures, interiors you can open up and sections you can rearrange. It is the most lively of the three, and the most expensive per piece. Also brand new, so wait.

Most urgent: Rivendell

The only one with a deadline – Brickset expects it to retire on 31 December 2026. If you have wanted it for a while, this is the season to buy, ideally on a deal during Black Friday.

So which one?

You want one big build and care about value: Sagrada Família, after a discount.
You love minifigures and little scenes: Venetian Neighbourhood, after a discount.
You are a Lord of the Rings fan: Rivendell, before the end of the year.
You are short on space: look at the footprint first – Rivendell is the widest at 72 cm, Sagrada Família the most compact at 47 × 39 cm.

31212 The Milky Way Galaxy: Wait – Beautiful wall art with the best value per piece here – no rush, wait for a discount

Mon, 02 Nov 2026 18:00:00 GMT

The facts

3,091 pieces in layers that give a 3D effect. 40 cm high, 65 cm wide and 5 cm deep, with a hanger for the wall (LEGO.com).
Shows Trappist-1, the Pleiades, the Crab Nebula and the Pillars of Creation, plus a 'You are here' tile (LEGO.com).
Built as five panels, each with its own instruction booklet, so several people can build at once. A QR code in each booklet links to a soundtrack about the Milky Way (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 2,349.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026), about 0.76 kr per piece. US $199.99, UK £169.99 (Brickset).
On sale since May 2024, with no exit date listed on Brickset.

Who should buy it

Space fans with wall space rather than shelf space, and anyone looking for a set to build together over the holidays.

Who should skip it

If you want a model you can pick up and look at from every side – this is a relief, not a sculpture.

Price verdict

The best price per piece among our current verdicts. With no retirement in sight there is no pressure, so wait for a sale.

Verdict: Wait. Our target is 1,880 kr (about 20% under list).

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

21065 Sagrada Família: Wait – LEGO's biggest set yet and good value per piece – but no need to buy at launch

Mon, 02 Nov 2026 16:00:00 GMT

The facts

12,060 pieces – the largest LEGO set so far (LEGO.com). 62 cm high, 47 cm wide and 39 cm deep.
The build follows the order of the real construction, from the apse and crypt to the six towers, and the windows have a stained-glass effect. The set marks 100 years since Antoni Gaudí's death (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 9,399.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026), about 0.78 kr per piece. US $799.99, UK £649.99, euro area €749.99 (Brickset).
Launched in November 2026.

Who should buy it

Architecture and travel fans who want a long, demanding project – this is weeks of evenings, not a weekend.

Who should skip it

Anyone without a 47 × 39 cm spot to display it, or who finds 9,400 kr hard to justify regardless of price per piece.

Price verdict

Per piece it is cheaper than Rivendell (about 0.98 kr) and Venetian Neighbourhood (about 1.11 kr). But there is no hurry: the previous record holder in this style, the Eiffel Tower (10307), was on sale from November 2022 to July 2026 according to Brickset.

Verdict: Wait. Our target is 7,990 kr (about 15% under list). If it is your one big build for the holidays, list price is reasonable value – you just give up a likely discount later.

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

11388 Venetian Neighbourhood: Wait – A gorgeous diorama, but the highest price per piece of the big new sets – wait

Mon, 02 Nov 2026 14:00:00 GMT

The facts

5,682 pieces and 17 minifigures. 48 cm high, 63 cm wide and 31 cm deep (LEGO.com).
A canal scene with a villa, a glassblowing workshop, a tower with an astronomical clock, a 3D-printed street piano, an arched bridge and a gondola. Floors and roofs lift off to show the interiors, and the sections can be rearranged (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 6,299.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026), about 1.11 kr per piece. US $549.99, UK £449.99, euro area €499.99 (Brickset).
General release 4 November 2026, with early access for LEGO Insiders from 1 November. At launch, LEGO paired it with a gift with purchase, 40898 Venetian Water Taxi, for 1–7 November (Stonewars) – check whether it applies in your country.

Who should buy it

Builders who love dense detail and story-telling scenes, and fans of LEGO's modular buildings who want something different.

Who should skip it

If value per piece matters: Sagrada Família is about 0.78 kr and Rivendell about 0.98 kr per piece.

Price verdict

Beautiful, but you pay for it. As a new release it will be around for a long time, so the sensible move is to wait.

Verdict: Wait. Our target is 5,350 kr (about 15% under list).

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

10281 Bonsai Tree: Buy – Still one of the best small gifts – fine to buy at list price

Mon, 02 Nov 2026 12:00:00 GMT

The facts

878 pieces. 18 cm high, 21 cm long and 20 cm wide (LEGO.com).
Two canopies in the box – green leaves or pink blossoms – and you can swap between them. Look closely at the blossoms: they are made of small frog pieces. Rectangular pot and a wood-effect stand; the leaves are made of plant-based plastic from sugarcane (LEGO.com).
List price on LEGO.com Sweden: 719.90 kr (checked 3 November 2026), about 0.82 kr per piece. US $49.99, UK £44.99 (Brickset).
On sale since January 2021, with no exit date listed on Brickset. When we checked, LEGO.com Sweden said it ships by 23 November.

Who should buy it

Anyone looking for a gift for an adult who likes plants, design or a calm evening build. It also suits people who have never built LEGO as adults.

Who should skip it

Experienced builders looking for a challenge – it is a short build.

Price verdict

The price is low enough that waiting for a deal saves little. Buy it when you need a gift.

Verdict: Buy. List price is fine; under 650 kr is a good price.

How we set target prices: the target is a level we consider good value, based on price per piece and comparable sets. It is not a prediction that any store will reach it.

Three red flags before you buy used LEGO® online

Mon, 19 Oct 2026 14:45:00 GMT

Three warnings before you buy used LEGO® online:

Weak seller feedback – few ratings, or recent negative ones.
Unclear shipping or minimum-buy terms – if you can't work out the total before checkout, ask first.
Vague item condition – "used" alone says nothing about completeness, instructions or box.

BrickLink recommends reviewing feedback before ordering and notes that seller terms and shipping charges vary between stores.

Verdict: if any of the three is unclear, ask the seller before you order – or buy elsewhere.

BrickLink vs Brick Owl

Mon, 19 Oct 2026 10:00:00 GMT

BrickLink describes itself as the world's largest online marketplace for new and used LEGO® parts, minifigures and sets. Brick Owl is an independent multi-store marketplace with wishlists, quotes and international stores.

How to choose

Selection: BrickLink usually has more stores and more listings.
Total price: compare the full order – items plus shipping – on both. Brick Owl's wishlist and quote tools make that easier.

Verdict: use BrickLink for selection depth, then compare the full order price – including shipping – on Brick Owl.

Is BrickLink safe?

Sun, 18 Oct 2026 03:00:00 GMT

BrickLink is a marketplace, not a single store. Every order is placed with an individual seller, and each seller sets their own terms.

Before you buy used LEGO® items

Check the seller's feedback. BrickLink recommends reviewing member feedback before ordering.
Read the store terms. Terms vary between sellers – returns, minimum buy, and how condition is described.
Understand shipping costs. Shipping and handling are set by the store and can change the total a lot.
Start with a small order with a seller you have not used before.

If something goes wrong

BrickLink states that it cannot issue refunds itself. Payment disputes must be handled through the payment provider – so pay with a method that offers buyer protection.

Verdict: BrickLink is safe enough when you treat it like a marketplace: judge the seller, not the site.

Most LEGO® reviews miss this

Most reviews tell you what is in the box. Brick Verdict tells you whether it deserves your money.

Every verdict ends with a clear call – Buy, Wait or Skip – a target price, and the date we last checked prices. We never rank a store higher because it pays us.
